This public website does not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, sign-up forms or marketing mailing lists. The hosting service may process ordinary technical request data, such as an IP address, requested page, time and browser information, to deliver the site and maintain its security.
Game account information
When account registration becomes available, the game service processes the information needed to create, secure and operate an account. This includes an account name, a canonical form of the supplied email address, password-verification data and technical security records.
Passwords and time-limited security codes are not stored as readable text. They are transformed using security-appropriate hashing before storage.
How email addresses are used
Email addresses are used only for account email verification, password recovery and account-name recovery. They are not used for newsletters, advertising, product marketing or unrelated gameplay notifications. Starvine does not sell account information or share it with advertisers.

Service providers
Starvine uses infrastructure providers to operate the service. Amazon Web Services hosts production infrastructure, and Amazon Simple Email Service processes the delivery of transactional account-security messages. Providers receive only the information required to perform their service and process it under their own contractual and legal obligations.
Retention and security
Account information is kept while it is needed to provide and secure the account, meet legal obligations, resolve abuse and maintain the integrity of the persistent game world. Data that no longer has an operational or legal purpose is deleted or anonymised.
Access is restricted to service components and operators that need it. Encryption in transit, protected secret storage, least- privilege access and security logging are part of the production architecture.
Your choices and questions
You may ask about personal information associated with your account or request its correction or deletion, subject to applicable law and records that must be retained for security or legal reasons.
